Awarded For: Last Gun in the last race in the regular season where all fleets compete. Usually Labor Day unless no wind on Labor Day then previous race.

Physical Description: Small cannon and shell mounted on wood base

Deed/History: This began as an informal trophy when Ernie Henkel was our PRO in the 1960s or 70s. Originally Ernie would write the boat's number, name and date on the shell when it was ejected from the shotgun (or cannon). In 1989 it was formalized into a physical trophy. Typically presented by the PRO, Senior Race Officer or Race Committee Chair.
