The tie breaker looked first at the most number of first place finishes. Andy Jackson and Lon Schoor both had one and Oscar Anderson had 0, so Oscar got 3rd. Then it looked at the most number of 2nd place finishes. Lon had one and Andy had 0, so Lon took first 1st and Andy 2nd. A similar tie breaker had to happen with 4th and 5th too. It was very tight racing for the E's.
